How to take down a pop-up tent.

My friend J wanted to know how to take down a pop-up tent so I thought I’d share some insight.

Pop-up tents can come down as easy as they went up. If you have a friend, maybe you’d be lucky enough to have them do it for you. Then you can sit back and enjoy the work being done by someone else. If not, don’t worry, this can be accomplished by yourself.

First thing to do is remove any exterior pieces of the tent as you can. Getting to the center pole is the most important part. Then, just work with it a little. Jiggle it or give it a little push and pull. It may be hard, and seem like it’s getting harder, but eventually the pole will give out and you’ll feel relieved. Now, the whole tent should come down pretty easy.

Now all you have left to do is clean up the mess and re-package the tent. Put it in a safe spot and save it for another day.
